I'll say this: Trump pandered to the extreme right to get elected and it worked however the only positive thing I'll say about Trump is that he's not stupid. Guiliani has always seen the merits with immigration reform and favored it in New York. As someone who lived in New York I know what I'm talking about. He will advise Trump that he has to tread lightly and will remind him that America needs immigrants (to do the manual and menial jobs their precious Americans won't do). I have repeatedly said America will need immigrants for self preservation.

Think about this also: We're all upset that Trump won but Hillary would have have faced the same obstacles Obama did because Republicans now control the House and Senate. There's no way in hell she would have waived her magic wand and immigration reform would have passed. We need to face reality. The bottom line is, believe it or not, given the current Republican House and Senate we stand a better chance that Trump will actually do the right thing for all the wrong reasons. If he values the American economy like he says he does, he may not pass reform but at the very least, he might keep DACA with an outrageous fine that will bankrupt the hell out of us.
