Hey bro, I was in your same situation. Took 8 months for them to renew mine, I lost my job in July and moved with my family, started to use my savings and yea I'm in my 30s too. Got approved last week. In the meantime I took 2 under the table jobs, had to cut on a couple of luxuries and just limit myself to my new budget. In short don't let this hiccup mess your life, you'll eventually get renewed
