I was told once by an officer that their processing time starts from the date you did your biometrics. He told me that to confirm that my case was not outside the normal processing time. I did my biometrics on June 29th so according to him I have a whole other month for my case to be delayed. Granted, there was another officer who told me there was no "normal" processing time so technically no one case is ever delayed. It doesn't matter how many days/months have passed. Bunch of BS I say.
