I wanted to update you about my situation. I can't believe I can finally update the spreadsheet. See below for a quick timeline and the issue of waiting about 6 months for approval.

Application received - 06/07/2016
Biometrics - Scheduled 10/26/16 Walk-in 10/12/16
EAD Expiration - 09/11/16

Received a notice that card is currently being printed: 11/21/16

It took 5 1/2 months or 162 days to receive notice of approval. I should also make clear on November 3rd, I received a letter stating they needed more information on my case. I checked the letter and it turns out I did not complete one question in the application. "Have you ever murdered someone, committed a crime, etc" question. They gave me the same question and for me to sign. I sent it back immediately and I got approved today.

I think a combination of the incomplete application and the huge delay USCIS had, it took this long to process. This is my 3rd time renewing (the first 2 times everything took about 2 1/2 months).

I get to enjoy my permit for another few months until we know for use if Trump will leave us alone. Cheers to the future and everyone's support in this forum!
