No, that's the harsh reality dude. The legislators who sympathize with us need to work with him. Whether you like or not, we will have to pressure him and ask him for relief. Arguing politics of polarization, like Ted Cruz, is a sign of poor leadership man. I concede and agree with you on many things about Trump; we can't trust him blindly or say he is a great human being. But, we can't go back into our caves and refuse to engage in dialogue with him.
