In the first 100 days, FAIR proposes ending President Obama's executive actions on immigration, including the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, and taking action against sanctuary cities to force them to cooperate with federal authorities on immigration enforcement.
Despite the plan explicitly calling for an immediate end to DACA, Stein said the group would be open to letting work permits issued by the program expire.
DACA recipients, people brought to the United States illegally as children, were granted 2-year renewable work permits and de-prioritized for immigration enforcement, but their immigration status remained unchanged.
Stein blamed Obama for the legal situation of DACA recipients.
