I went to BB&T and they didn't ask what my status was. They just wanted a DL and a valid social security number and this was before I had daca.

I don't think you are a non resident alien. Just show them what you've got and let them label you. Make sure you go with someone that doesn't make you nervous. Some banks and certain reps make you feel very comfortable and they really do help you with the whole process. Good luck!
