What they are getting at is that the constraints that were previously in place on ICE officers/the immigration system under Obama, do not hold true with Trump in the White House.
They're not promoting, encouraging fear...or whatever anyone wants to call it. They are encouraging folks to
remain vigilant, which is a good thing. Don't go out and make stupid mistakes because they haven't come out and said "we're going to end DACA on (insert date here)."
They don't want people to get too comfortable because no matter what they say today, the rug could be pulled out from under us at any point going forward
on a whim.
So, before ya'll go
disparaging the same people that fought for all of us and in some cases put themselves in immigration limbo to get us DACA, keep in mind that they surely have everyone's best interests at heart.
