It's cruel and serves no security purposes- these GC holders, as those with deferred action, have already been screened! BTW, there are circulating docs stating that anyone with a final order, even under deferred action by DACA or other prosecutorial discretion can be targeted for deportation. I hope this is not the case as the reason deferred action was granted was to prevent removal of those who have lengthy residency and clean backgrounds.
