This may be controversial but here is something that I thought about. By these sanctuary cities trying to protect us it may send a wrong message to the people. That message is that he city wants to protect criminals because trump said he is going after criminals only. We all are not criminals.

What if, these cities say hey we will help you trump but you need to tell us what is your definition of a criminal. And based on that definition we will decide if we will help you.
