Think about it H1Bs probably contribute more on taxes than dreamers do, just by the nature of their job. Not everyone here is upper middle class, whereas I'd say a lot of H1Bs are upper middle class, at least here in the bay area tech scene. Our best shot is if they are willing to use us as bargaining chips, and that's not gonna be pretty for whoever is in the receiving end. You might get something but what will be the cost.

To the general public immigrants are immigrants. Whether legal or otherwise. Dreamers have the most sympathy because we were brought against our wills as children. We have garnered a lot of support from top universities and companies. Of course we will be used as a bargaining chip.
