I bring it in to the appointment and they tell me I need to retake all the vax, even though they are already on my records. The reason they gave is that each vax has to be within 5 years, and a lot of mine are from when I was a kid (I'm 30 now). So I didn't have enough $ so I had to leave and told them I would reschedule. I understand the TB test should be current, but does this sound right?

Are they just trying to rip me off? Does anyone recommend a Civil Surgeon in the Los Angeles area? If so, how much was it?
No they aren't. Some people charge just look at you. I called around and asked them the price of EACH vaccine so i knew a price before I walked out the door. I was 22 when I got mine done and I believe that carries 5 mandatory shots but I only need 2. 1 being a flu shot lol. The manadatory shots are different with each age group. Again I would call tell them your age and ask for prices over the phone. If you have insurance find out what your insurance will pay for at your local pharmacy ( I work as a pharmacy tech) look at your records and match them to see what you need from what you don't need. Don't be afraid to ask questions it's your money. I called the same place 4 times because questions kept coming up 😂😂
