My case was processed in Nebraska I believe. I don't have the document in front of me atm, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't processed in San Antonio.

Wow, sounds like a long wait. Glad to know that your waiting and patience paid off. Do you believe it was within normal processing time? I am also doing an AOS from an expired B2 (from '97 too) and just recently got an update on 4/5/17 that my interview is waiting to get scheduled.
