This morning I received an email in response to my USCIS online inquiry, it stated that my case was being "adjudicated" in Nebraska (their reps told me it was in Vermont, Grr..) so I forwarded that to the congressional staffer I spoke with last week. While speaking with him, he pointed out my EAD was accepted and being produced!
The strange thing is my DACA case status still says "on December 12th 2016 we received your case". I read that they can't accept your EAD before the DACA approval notice? Also, I got an email from Ombudsman telling me:
"The Ombudsman’s Office has determined that USCIS recently issued a decision regarding the application or petition referenced in your request for case assistance."
Luckily my HR manager told me the approval notice would be enough to keep me enrolled, I didn't actually have to wait for the card to arrive in the mail, so it appears I'm good.
Case received: 12/12/16
Biometrics scheduled: 01/09/17
EAD expires on: 05/04/17
Congressman contacted on: 04/10/17
EAD approved on 04/17/17

That's great! My timeline is similar to yours so hopefully I hear something from my app as well!
