Yes, we need border/national security but a wall isn't going to achieve that (history has proven walls don't work) and it is a huge waste of tax payer money.
I'm aware Obama deported many immigrants. At least under Obama there was targeted enforcement focused on those caught near the border, those who've committed crimes and those who appear to have arrived in 2014 or later. Under Trump everyone is fair game.
