My lawyer sent mine and my wife's Birth certificate. It is always better to be safe and it really can't hurt you... I'd also strongly recommend that you file a work permit just in case. It's free when you are filling for permanent residency and it's better to have 2 work permits. Even though DACA looks like it's staying, things can change in a second with this administration.
