There was plenty of critique of Obama here on his inaction on immigration, say what you will but we are a single-issue site. Same as gun forums circlejerking around new ways around the National Firearms Act and getting pissed about someone getting 10 years in Federal Prison for violating it. Same as a site about keeping guinea pigs being excited about the smelly rodents for whatever reasons.


So going back to Trump, let me tell you what his handlers want and what might happen under him:
1) DACA isn't a priority, it's easier to keep it up and all so nativists can remain pissed and vote republican for whatever sense that makes. When it's time to bring the hammer down he'll have a lot of information on us. So if you, or any other of you have a plan to legalize it's time to put it in motion, if not then better have a safe house for when they start rounding people up.
2) Trump tried 2 travel bans which the courts struck down before they could do any kind of damage, there were green card holders being denied entry. There were Iraqi translators working for the US Army (EB-4) being denied entry during the few days before the injunction.
3) Wall - 10 year old's solution to a complex problem, well they can't come if there's a barrier, not like ladders or ropes or grappling hooks exist. Never mind most illegal immigrants are overstays and not EWIs. But hey, simpleton calling call for the simpleton voting populace.
4) Look at what the republican congress is considering and wanting to bring up to a vote. Whoever circlejerks around RACA being great and having like 3 cosponsors needs to stop drinking the fucking coolaid and look at what "immigration" bills they are scheduling for votes - just so you know, enforcement only that makes IIRAIRA, with its bars and inadmissibilities for fucking everything, look acceptable.
