Now we have Trump who has trashed immigrants every chance he got and he said he was going to get rid of DACA, but since he decided not to undo Obama's hard work, we should sing his praises? All of a sudden we should kiss his butt that he's only deporting those other people and not us?
Then, we should all start to attack and call him a bloody asshole/racist. While we are it, let us all hope he eliminates DACA because benefiting from any program under his administration goes against our ethics as dreamers etc. Hell, we should all start a petition to have him cancel daca, so we are in no way connected to him.

"All of a sudden we should kiss his butt that he's only deporting those other people and not us?" What you forget is that many innocent immigrants were deported under Obama while he protected us, which he explains he later tried to help more with eDACA and DAPA. We would continually confront Obama on these deportations, and he would essentially give the same reasoning every republican gives us. As the President, he has a constitutional duty to uphold the laws of this country.

DOUBLE STANDARDS. We should not be cautious or strategic because Trump is a racist and a bloody asshole. We should stop receiving any sort of benefit or deportation protections from this administration to protest his presidency and the fact that we dislike him as a president and person. Our ego matters more than being strategic, advancing our dreams, and helping put food on the table for our families, many of which rely on us for income now given that finding work is more difficult.

I do not mind dreamers dissenting and criticizing his policies in a civil way. That's fair. After all, we do live in a democracy. However, blindly engaging in ad hominem arguments that are based along Democratic partisan lines is irresponsible and puts all of us at risk. Another reminder, we live in a Democracy; the dreamers who want to praise the fact that he has not eliminated daca are not any less of dreamers than the ones who attack him and feel that they are better than the dreamers who disagree with their strategy.
