I know it has not happened, but it is very likely.
The main problem we have is the attorney general. The only way to get around it is that he will have to be fired over not wanting to defend the lawsuit. It is likely that Trump will want to avoid that scandal and this is how these states are confident that they will succeed.
Sessions just went on national TV and bragged about this victory... like he is cheering for the opposite team.
