My heart is telling me to still apply, with the hopes that with the info of those that applied, some law will pass through Congress that allows those to remain in the US. I feel that it's now or never - and I want to apply NOW.
I am 19 years old and just received my associates degree in engineering with honors, and no criminal record. I feel that I should take the risk since I hope that I won't be a priority for deportation, but with this administration you never know.
What should I do?
It sounds odd and dangerous but I would rather have USCIS at least receive my application have it in their DACA application pool then to not do anything at all.
What's your advice?

This decision to apply or not to apply is ultimately yours, in light of the news. I will say this about my own story, I first applied for DACA January,2016. I applied after four years of living in fear of what ifs, and not knowing the outcome of the election. But at that point I had decided I don't want to live in fear forever, and what if this was my last chance to do something about my status. I went with a Nelson Mandela quote that said "let your decision reflect your hope and not your fears" so I tried to use that as my motivation. If DACA is rescinded I would still be left without permanent status, but at this point I feel like I must keep going forward and pursue whatever options I have into finally achieving that dream where worrying about my immigration status is a thing of the past. Pray and make the decision that's best for a hopeful future.
