Call me crazy, but I really think the majority of the GOP wants to solve this immigration issue once and for all, even if means addressing a small part of the group but at least work something and compromise. I do however believe our biggest threat is some of the democratic senators and house representatives. They want to play out this immigration issue as far as they can without willing to compromise on any level.

With leaders like Schummer and Pelosi I seriously doubt their is zero compromise for immigration under this administration. To them, is either citizenship for all the undocumented immigrants or nothing and we all know citizenship for ALL is not going to happen under a Trump administration.

It's crazy to think that after the House passed the dream act back in 2009 we we're just short of 5 democratic votes in the senate from making that dream come true. All 5 democrats voted against it, killing the bill for good. Just like we hold the Republican Party accountable when it comes to immigration, we all need to start doing the same thing with the Democratic Party.
