If something as good as RACA or other Dream Act like bill was on the table and it could pass, of course I'd say go for it. No such thing is on the table however. Saying something like "give us money to start the wall and after 3-4 years, we'll see what we can do about Dreamers" is not a good deal.

I remember the LGBTs wanting to derail CIR over that, despite the fact it was during the period after Obergerfell was argued and before the court handed the decision with all signs on heaven and earth pointing to a 5-4 in favor of same sex marriage which is what happened and suddenly they all vanished like a fart on the wind.
Even if not DOMA was struck down and they could've gotten married in New York or something and proceeded from there. Nope need that special treatment despite the fact that McCain would rather go back into his bamboo cage than support same sex marriage.
