Why not? We we're 5 democratic votes away from making the dream act a reality back in 2010 and all 5 voted NAY in the senate. All 5 were democrats, and this was during the Obama administration. What makes you think they won't do it again? All this happened under a democratic controlled congress and White House, so I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again.

Their are 8 democratic senators who are vulnerable for the 2018 elections and a total of 25 senate seats that they have to defend. With so many blowback losses, I wouldn't be surprised if they all voted NAY for any type of immigration relief bill.
