My concern is that politicians nowadays like to put out bills that appeases whatever their base is, so they get the to say "here I introduced this bill that does xyz like I promised!" but in reality it means nothing since it either doesn't pass, or it isn't even voted on. Also the fact that republicans are more dysfunctional than they even realized themselves
Everyone says it's on Democrats to compromise, and it may be, but for 8 years all republicans could talk about,
complain about, was repealing the Affordable Care Act, and now that they finally are in control of all branches, they still can't even do that
