I think this is the key difference between us Dreamers and immigrants who arrived as adults. The case being made for Dreamers is that we
are Americans in all aspects except on paper. I don't think any of us would ever hold up our countries of origin's flag like that. Me, personally, I would proudly wave
only the American flag, the only flag I identify with.
So, yes, if you're arguing for #HereToStay, please, please, FWD, UWD, Astrid and whoever else speaks for us, do
not conflate us into these kind nationalistic rallies, showing pride for our countries of origin, with protest signs written in Spanish.
