Honestly, we shouldn't want DA (or any other bill) attached to this! This bill is horrible, essentially eliminating the whole family program. US citizens won't be able to petition parents, Parents won't be able to petition children over 21. I'm all for taking baby steps towards legalizing the 11 Million (as in, if necessary, DREAM passed first then using momentum for CIR) but I WILL NOT allow others to be thrown under the bus just so I can get a GC.
For those that support this bills passing, you realize how many families are simply waiting for theirs kids to turn 21. Or DREAMers waiting for their priority date because they "aged-out" of a family petition and are over 21. You're willing to throw them all under the bus?
There are better ways to pass DA, and I know Dems and most Repubs will not fall for this atrocity of a bill.
