Most kids are not immigration experts at 18. I know I was not even thinking about "illegal presence" while I was worrying about college, what studies to pursue and other things that 18 yr olds do. I knew my parents had an employer sponsorship case opened and I was "attached" to that case. I believe every county has the right to decide who they let stay and who they don't but by the time I realized the shitty situation I was in the 10yr ban was triggered. I had no problem with leaving and making a life elsewhere but I could not bear the 10yr ban where I would not be able to visit and be part of the life of people I grew up with and loved. My entire life was here I would have to be able to visit if I left. So I don't think the 10yr ban should apply to anyone who was brought under age regardless if they stayed here past their 18 birthday. I blame the c**ksucker Bill Clinton for signing this law into existence. I think if the ban did not exist for people brought here underage a good number of us would not be here facing this problem. I think America needs to realize that some of the laws created to combat illegal immigration are counter productive and add to the problem.
