Well, I was right. According to Bloomberg:

Although the number was about 41,000 in November 2016, the 42,034 in your article isn't far off.......

Therefore, in their twisted logic they are saying that grandma who was picked up by ICE for overstaying her visa, is the same type of criminal as a US citizen who's involved in car jacking, armed robberies, serial killings etc etc.

They know that when people hear the word "federal prisoner" they'll think of the crimes I listed above and more.

But we should know better.
