In an ideal world, a DACA'er enlisting in the armed forces should be one of a couple different ways to gain some kind of permanent status.

Some of us have a career already built and are embedded in the workforce. That should be another doorway to permanent status (especially if it's a STEM-based career) as enlisting would significantly disrupt what people in this case have already built.
