You are all debating their actions, which we can all agree were violent. BUT its the "why" behind their actions that is just as important! I agree with Swim19 you cannot ignore the fact that they are on 2 completely different moral planes.
Neo-nazi/Alt Right: Protesting and fighting the existence of minorities, protesting and fighting for white supremacy
Antifa: Counter protesting the Neo-nazi, protesting Facism, solidarty for minority rights

**As a last note while I still don't agree with their violent tactics, I have had people that were there (the one's counter protesting peacefully) explain that had Antifa not been there taking an aggressive violent stance they would have also been assaulted like the young African American. They literally formed a human blockade for the clergy that was there peacefully.
