I saw this and it was really weird.

So apparently, Abbott went on the Twitter or something and said that everyone must evacuate from Corpus Christie to Houston. The local authorities in or around Houston contradicted him by practically saying "Eat shit, Greg" (I'm paraphrasing, btw). They said that Houston isn't in any danger other than the usual flooding and told folks to "ride it out". They also mentioned that ICE would be on the look out, and won't cease because of the storm like they did in previous storms.

My thoughts and prayers go to the folks located in the affected counties.
