You can't keep on calling DACA a bargaining chip if we're 8 months into his administration and he's gotten nothing. We all know President Trump has 0 to very little patience and when he wants to act on something he will do it. Regardless of whatever type of backlash he will get.

The last couple of months, President Trump has gotten no benefits of keeping DACA. With the Democrats not budging on any compromise whatsoever, I'm confident he would have ended DACA a long time ago. DACA is here to stay. Yes it will end at some point, but those who already have it will be able to keep it while saying he ended the program in order to please his base.
