Trump is not forcing the Congress to pass legalization us, he is just passing the ball to the Congress.
In his heart, he may be sympathetic to dreamers, because he had said it over and over again. But do you think we are more important to his base? No. I don't think so. It's true he is being forced to terminate DACA because of the lawsuit, that doesn't mean he will actively push for legalization for us. Now he is like "Sorry, congress you have to pass something to protect them, not my problem anymore."
Do I think this is bad for us? No, this is reality, considering Trump ran on anti-immigration, this day would come sooner or later under this administration.
Do I think congress will pass something/anything? It's a political game, each side has to get something, right now Democrats and Republicans are just testing the water, the gridlock is very worrisome, I'm afraid it will be all finger pointing and nothing gets done.
Do I think we will be fine? Yes and no, not everyone will be lucky, more and more DACA holders will be deported.
