That bloke, 2face or whatever, mentioned the 6 (it was actually 5) Democratic 'traitors' for voting "NO" for closure motion, while failing or willfully omitting the 36 'traitor' Republican Senators who also voted no.

Because they have a preconceived bias for Republican (yes, shock of shocks); because they take Democratic votes for granted, as a given, as something owed to them; because they do not feel the same to Republicans votes (commendable exception!), which they rationalize and excuse endlessly.

After which, once they benefit from it enormously by obtaining eventual citizenship, will go on to vote Republican.

People have an amazing capacity to believe something simply because they want to believe it is so, despite the evidence; despite the overwhelming counterfactual starting them in the face.
