Nancy Pelosi and her Democrat colleagues are making a big mistake by raising the cut-off age. No ordinary Americans are going to believe that > 16 year olds were "kids" when they were brought in. This is just supplying the ammunition to the opposition.

If anything, we should be pushing for more practical cut-off age. Selling the idea that we were kids (when brought in) under 12 is MUCH more feasible than classifying 16, 17 and 18 year olds as "kids", which we all know is a bit of a bs.
