"Republicans say there's not enough time to pass a fix for those under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program before year's end, noting that the 2017 calendar is already packed with work on tax reform and President Trump’s nominees."

He actually nominated someone? This is the same guy that left huge gaps in the DOS because he thinks that he is the most important person to American diplomacy. Well that is somewhat true but unless he is going to keep in touch with every other foreign representative that just isn't happening.

Tax cuts can wait, oh no, wait they can't because you need the Kochs to finance your reelection campaigns, and they are very very close to shutting off the tap.

Really Dream Act compromise is something that could be done by sitting the more willing republicans (think Graham, Murkowski, Flake, and maybe Collins, McCain, etc) in a room and ask them - what do you want for the 49th, 50th, and 51st vote here. Cotton should not be a part of these talks, man has nothing to offer.

Fuck the 60 vote threshold. Make it revenue neutral by authorizing some spending together with it, get a CBO score. Get it down with 50 votes.
