It's kind unfair to say that Harry Reid left us at the bottom of the list when he was the one pressuring President Obama to bypass Congress and act on Dreamers which then gave us DACA. He also urged Obama to pass DAPA.

Over the past two months Mr. Durbin and other top Democrats, including Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader, have quietly urged Mr. Obama to do something significant to help immigrant students.

Reid made similar comments in an interview with Univision on Monday, saying he thinks executive action “should be done now.” He told Univision that he believes “the president should go big, as big as he can,” including acting to protect the parents of young people who came to the U.S. as children and already received relief through the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

According to a statement released by Reid’s office, the president “will use his executive authority to take significant steps to reform our broken immigration system.” The statement goes on to say, “I know that the president is determined to act, and when he does I support a broad use of his authority to fix as much of our broken immigration system as he can through executive action.”
