It's funny that you mention that, because a few years ago (maybe even a few months ago), it seemed like Republicans wanted to do piecemeal legislation instead of CIR, while Democrats wanted CIR. Now it seems like the Republicans want to jam so much stuff in DA/DACA fix, that it might as well be CIR. Meanwhile Democrats are trying to pass piecemeal (clean DA). How the tables have turned.
