I see your point. A lot of people use this country as a model. When I was a young progressive with aspirations of world socialism, I did the same.
Unfortunately for Sweden, you're starting to see some of the backlash from the migration that has occurred in the last few years. Don't be surprised if there is a strong swing to the right in the near future.
Progressivism has it's heart in the right place; however, it does not take into account the flaws in human nature.
You are already seeing an uprise in right wing politics due to lax policies in Europe, regarding migration. I don't agree with the neo-nazis, but I understand why people are fighting, figuratively speaking, hard to maintain and preserve their culture.
