I have never understood why this forum is so ferociouly leftist when at the end of the day we live in a Representative Republic with a Constitution. Thus, the Republican Party is in charge of Congress and the White House so whatever happens next year will be a bipartisan but still more conservative than the Dream Act.

I'm happy to see anything pass. We were brought here illegally and we must accept the rule of law. That's why Mexico is so fucked up cause there is rampant corruption and the law isn't respected.

Let's not forget the Democratic Party had a filibuster proof majority last time Congress voted on the Dream Act and it was inaction by Pres. Obama and not being personally involved in calling individual Senators to support the cloture motion.

At least this time around we will have most likely a 60-70 vote margin of victory in the Senate.

Like they say, "beggars can't be choosers!"

And yes once I can vote I will vote for centrist/fiscally conservative representation because I agree with the fiscal conservatism/ rule of law.

Smart, resourceful people will always find ways to succeed. So let's try to be more positive and less of partisan robots. The Democratic Party is in shambles and failed miserably when it was in power when it came to immigration reform during the Obama years.
