I do believe that our troops are burned after all the calling. I consider DAP a part-time job. I also believe that 90% of our active members do call as much as they can. Something that few of us consider is that uncertainty takes a lot of energy. There are many important things in life the Dream Act might not be the most important but its meaning is actually very important. To me, the Dream Act has always been more than a driver's license. It is the right to call this my dirt and my air and my sky and my sunshine. It is the right to call this country my own. It is the right to be the person I want to be and to have the American values that I have. We can have the values is out hearts but the reality is that we need that piece of paper to shut those haters up. We need those papers to walk freely and to live without fear and uncertainty. For me this has always been more than driver licenses and a good job. It is about the way I see myself and the way people around me see me. They can think the hell they want but with that paper they have to keep their damn thoughts to themselves.
That was beautiful. That is what all of this for.
