Haha.... I won't fall for it. I am just saying that Democrats are giving a lot of things to Republicans for the DACA situation, which are meant for future comprehensive immigration reform bills. Of course, it is foolish to believe these Republicans in Congress would do anything for our families in good faith.

But, it is a sad reality. Our future depends on the leverage that the Democrats have right now and the mercy of Trump and a handful of Republican leaders at this point. Unless the Democrats gain supermajorities and a Democratic president again, I think it is almost impossible to pass a reasonable CIR. Even last time, the economy and health care debate consumed all of the Democratic supermajorities' energy.

Trump's undoing of the DACA, ironically, could be our salvation.
