An activist I personally know who was advocating in DC for past couple weeks told me there are MANY MANY DEMS who are willing to continue punting this issue as much as they can to specifically use us for elections and re-elections. Dems are not saints either! He told me that many Dems have this term called “DACA Patch” whereby their idea is to fight for just DACA renewal capability and then promise us that they will legalize us after they win elections! I am afraid we are going to have to accept a very conservative bill if we want something passed in the next month.
