Anyway, yeah I get it, the majority of the users here have DACA and if Trump throws you a bone, you're temped to jump at it and say thank you even if it screws many more immigrants over, but DACA recipients are not and should not be the only concern of Democrats. A lot of US citizens who were born here have parents or siblings who are undocumented and ending "chain migration" would be devastating to them. And unlike you guys who can't vote and are willing to throw them under the bus, they can vote and aren't willing to throw their parents under the bus.

There is a HUUUUGE difference between saying "We are going to deal with the dreamers first and parents are left out this time" vs. "We are going to deal with the dreamers and make sure parents will never gain legal status" which is what is happening too.

Actually, what's being proposed by the White House now is "We're only dealing with DACA recipients who through an arbitrary cut-off date hit the jackpot( by a Democrat mind you), screwing over older and future dreamers, making sure that parents and siblings of all future immigrants will also never gain any status, and as an added bonus, we're going to make enforcement a lot tougher now so not only will they not gain any status, but their lives become even harder". If you want to support that then it's your right, but you don't get to call anybody else a devil without looking in the mirror first.
