That literally makes no sense. So ending the DV lottery and chain migration will make people think twice about coming to the US illegally?! A wall and a visa entry/exit system won’t do anything except cause more illegal immigration. Ending the DV lottery, that’s been the root cause all along.

You know what would work better than that? Just round up all the brown people at some camps, maybe in Texas. That way they can find everybody that is illegal and deport them. Every time a new brown person pops up in the community, just send them to the camp. That should solve the illegal immigration issue.

Honestly Marc is probably trying to drive a narrative with the republican base that we need to reform other aspects of immigration to truly stop illegal border crossings. Makes no sense. But I think he’s energizing their base to push for other reforms. Currently the popular compromise is DACA fix + Border security.
