Guys, don't get carry away by what you might or might not believe to be a fair deal - all of us have very different situations here. So before you start attacking other viewpoint, keep that in mind.
For me, I can only speak for myself. My parents worked like horses to put me through college and they are too old/illto work anymore. I'm the primary bread earner in the family, making enough money for everyone because I can have a legal job through DACA. While some of us are perfectly fine without a deal for a year or two or three, if I loose status - I will lose my career and can probably make 1/10 as much as what Im making today. What I've also learned is that having even 1 person in the family to be legal is an enormous help (unless you live in a 99% undocumented district where you can get every without a status).
I'm not here to question why some of you feel like it is completely okay if no deal is done - maybe it won't affect you as much. I'm just here to offer a perspective for those who are trying to dismiss other people's hardships when they want to see a deal. Again, sometimes when lives are stake, we can't afford to WAIT FOR A BETTER DEAL because there always will be a better deal.
