This is the leverage we've been hoping for. The GOP has the majority (and no filibuster in the House), so it would be really easy to blame a shutdown on the GOP. Let's wait and see, but looks like the Democrats once again aren't going to fight with us. Though I don't think the GOP are any better. They are willing to compromise on any item, BUT helping DREAMers.

Sr Hse GOP source tells Fox they are confident GOPers will deliver “well above” half of Hse GOPers and that Democrats will be able to make up the difference on budget bill. “I’m not worried,” said the source when asked about the vote tally on the Democratic side of the aisle.
A number of absences today in the Hse 419 is the highest vote total for members voting today in two series of roll calls. So the number for passage on the budget bill could be as low as 210 yeas.
