From that I can interpret that as us not being being able to sponsor our parents under their conditional LPR. My question now is, would we be able to do so after we become citizens? I'm asking, because as citizens, we would not be under any kind of protection anymore. We would then be on another "level", for the lack of a better word. So to strip that kind of privilege of a certain class of citizens could bring certain legal troubles. I do hope to remedy that they consider DAPA like on a previous bill/proposition that I saw, or be it's separate thing that encompasses everyone else, like previous TPS applicants.

Right now only US citizens can sponsor parents. But the bill they are proposing will only allow petition for spouse and minor children of LPR & citizen.
