The Collins proposal doesnt "reward" deferred action to parents of DACA recipients and bans them from being sponsored once a DREAMER/DACA recipient/applicant gets to LPR and USC status, which should make Rep Senators mpst likely to support it.

It does change family visas to LPRs, such as to only include unmarried children and spouses. Kind of a good faith approach to do SOMETHING about the backlong of family based immigration, which could be spun by the White House as a "win" on so called chain migration.

Its 3 pillars and by far the most likely to get 60 votes.

Go Collins! She is the type of lawmaker we need to stand against extremist policy points from both parties.

Officially Independent now

If Ryan and Trump dont get behind some type of Collins compromise that receives 65-70 votes, nothing else will pass.

So its important the center of the Senate band together and save the day.

we shall see the vote results tomorrow
