the chain migration that most people want to end, is the one where people outside of a sponsor's nuclear family unit(their mom, dad, and siblings) are granted entry and given a GC with no connection or stake to the country.
now, unless you actually believe that a foreign US citizen should absolutely be allowed to eventually bring in his aunt, uncle, cousins, and grandparents, and in turn their extended family via indirect sponsoring, i don't know why you are so passionate for defending this.
Ok, this is the last time I will try to explain this to you.. THERE IS NO SUCH CHAIN MIGRATION!! It is NOT possible to sponsor outside the current immediate family (Parents, spouse, children, siblings) any further sponsorship further than that is simply NOT possible. The reason people are against the administrations plan is that it changes the current interpretation of immediate family, they would define “nuclear family” to ONLY spouses and underage children. MEANING that American Citizens would NO longer be able to sponsor their parents or siblings. That’s why people are passionately defending it! I really don’t understand why you can’t grasp the concept..

Please don’t be as ignorant as the Fox News zombies screaming that immigrants can sponsor their 3rd cousins twice removed..
